Captain Bruce Chard, a full time Florida Keys flats guide, FFF casting instructor and fishing photographer has designed a series of fly lines that best handle the conditions needed to cast, present, and fish a heavily weighted fly hard into the wind. The most prestigious fish deserves the most prestigious line. You need a long cast and a delicate, accurate presentation when you have calm conditions versus shorter casts with a powerful tight loop that will drive a longer leader with a heavy fly hard into the wind. The hard “HPC” (high performance coating) coating and stiff mono core will help in creating tight loops and turning over long leaders, while minimizing line tangles.
Excellent for many similar types of fishing, ranging from Permit, Tarpon, Bonefish, Shark, Barracuda and anything else that requires a great presentation with a large fly.

Flip Pallot, the host of "Walker
Cay Chronicles" on ESPN, has designed his line, with our new “HPC” coating
(high performance coating), with saltwater sight fishing in mind. "In
saltwater sight fishing situations, the "long cast" simply
does not exist! Most fish we see are within forty feet and many are much
closer. I designed this line with one purpose in mind: sight fishing
in saltwater. Its taper will load the rod immediately, get the cast off
quickly and will land softly on the water. Here is a line that is destined
to become the workhorse of shallow, saltwater fishing." This
fly line is superb for mangrove shoreline and saltwater flats fishing.

Lefty Kreh, an outdoor writer,
photographer and lecturer, has designed a multipurpose fly line for situations
when distance and accuracy are important. "The ultimate purpose
of this line is to help most fly fishermen cast further and easier. I've
incorporated a "bump" in the line as an indicator, so when
you feel it cross your striping finger, you know that it is time to make
the back cast. Make a back cast, then come forward, and when the forward
stroke stops, release the line and let it shoot way out there to the
target. That's it." Lefty's fly line is offered in both a floating
with our new “HPC” coating (high performance
coating) and slow sinking intermediate, and is fished in both
fresh and saltwater. |

Gary LaFontaine, author of many
trout books and well-known lecturer, designed an improved weight forward
floating line with our new “HPC” coating
(high performance coating). What he wanted more than anything
else was a very easy casting, accurate line for dry fly fishing and shallow
water nymphing. This fly line has the perfect taper for smooth casting
and is designed for the ultimate control necessary for delicate and accurate
presentation. |

Dave Whitlock, an author, lecturer
and fly pattern designer, has designed a line primarily for bass fishing
but also works well on large trout. The taper of this bass line allows
you to cast large flies in windy situations. "Through a lifetime
of fly fishing experience, I have learned how extremely important the
fly line is while fishing for bass and other large fresh and saltwater
predators. This advanced bass line with our new “HPC” coating
(high performance coating) is a uniquely tapered, weight forward
line that is designed for success at this demanding, big fly, quick presentation,
pinpoint accuracy type of fly casting." |

Billy Pate, fly rod world record
holder of Black, Blue, White and Striped Marlin, also Atlantic and Pacific
Sailfish, has put together the finest Billfish/Big Game line ever made.
One size fits all. This line was designed to turn over the largest flies
for accurate presentations, to reduce line drag that could break tippets,
to provide a color that a captain can see to help him follow the fish
and determine it's change of direction, and with enough weight to get
the fly quickly below the surface for a better hookup percentage. "The
very short heavy head is effective in carrying out a big fly to a fish
much closer to your boat than the normal 30 foot head on conventional
fly line. Sometimes the fish may even swim up close to the side of your
boat and one needs a very heavy line to carry the fly with only a 15
foot distance to the fish. The extra weight also helps to get the fly
down faster when it hits the water, enabling a better hookup than on
the surface. The smaller diameter of a fast sinking head also helps reduce
the drag on the tippet when the fish is running." The floating section
is coated with our new “HPC” coating (high performance
coating). |

The Mini-Tip+ was designed by Pat Ehlers to reach fish below the surface in rivers, streams, lakes and ponds. This line can be used for all species of freshwater fish. This line has an eight foot sinking tip that allows the angler to get the fly down in river currents or to fish weed tops, pier lines and rock bars in still waters. The sinking tip has a taper built into it which allows it to cast like a floating line. The tip is made with a synchronized sink section that allows it to sink in a straight line for better strike detection. The rear floating section has our new “HPC” coating (high performance coating). Built in 6 to 10 weight configurations this line is perfect for trout streams and really shines when it comes to warm-water species like bass, pike and muskies. Pat uses the Mini-Tip+ as much if not more than floating lines while fishing for these species. A 9 foot leader fished with the Mini-Tip+ and a floating Diver pattern is a killer technique. The sinking section will take the Diver down deep on a hard strip. With a pause the floating fly will float back to the surface like a wounded bait fish often triggering explosive strikes. The Mini-Tip+ will help you fish below the surface more easily and effectively than conventional long sink-tip lines.

Weight Forward Mini-Tip with 8' sinking takes your fly deeper. Streams, Rivers & Lakes Great line for - Trout, Bass, Bluegill. 90 feet long. |
New Carp Line - Carp require stealth, accuracy and softer longer casts. My flyline delivers on all of these situations. The unique taper makes this an accurate casting linier that can be cast for distance or can fight the wind. My choice of line color is to help make stealthy presentation. The line is a sage green color that will not spook fish, while the front 4 ft. is yellow to maintain visible contact with the line tip. Sight casting is easier with this line color combination. The line is constructed with Teeny's proprietary HPC coating like my Bass and Pike/Musky lines. The slick coating makes the line cast farther and last longer. No matter what the conditions are with these demanding fish this line will help you catch more Carp!

Kelly Galloup, coauthor of "Modern Streamers and Trophy Fish," lecturer, and guide joins the Teeny Professional Series with two new fly lines. The Kelly Galloup Indicator line was designed with our new “HPC” coating (high performance coating) to cope with the added weight of fishing an indicator with split shot. "To nymph fish with a floating line for Steelhead or big Trout, you have to add weight to your leader, in order to get where the fish live. Often times you will also add an indicator to detect strikes. This line was designed to pick up and deliver the extra weight needed to fish indicator systems effectively, at any depth." This line is 90 feet long.
The Kelly Galloup Streamer line was designed to fish big streamers for big fish. "This line was designed to fish a big streamer, at any depth, for the biggest carnivore Trout. This line allows you to retrieve quickly, while keeping your line at the same depth throughout the retrieve. This will keep you in the strike zone for the most savage of predatory strikes." This line is 90 feet long and has 60' of sinking line with 30' floating backing. Click here for 2 new DVDs by Kelly |
