Greedy little minds are ever busy turning landscapes into slag heaps, housing tracts,
canals, freeways and shopping malls, a perversion they zealously pursue
under the ragged banner of progress.
Sheridan Anderson "The Curtis Creek Manifesto" (1978)

Utah's Green River - June 2001

We were a group of seven and put in below the dam, which is called the A section. Kelton who owns "Venture" Co. provided our water crafts. This marked my first trip on the Green and it was a memorable one for me.
I did very well on the T-200, four foot leaders, and size #8 and #10 leeches and nymphs. The colors that worked for me were natural and ginger. What a beautiful float trip this was, going down the A section through the canyon walls. We caught rainbows, cutt-bows, and browns up to 19 1/2 inches. I will look forward to a return trip.
