Katmai Lodge July 14, 2000
I've had the good fortune to enjoy fishing at Alaska's Katmai Lodge on many occasions. Owned and operated by Tony Sarp, this lodge sits on the banks of the Alagnak River, outside of King Salmon. The river sports a run of several million salmon each year. The accommodations, food, guides, and fishing are all world class for this type of operation. You can also schedule fly outs to see bears and to catch large Rainbows. I'll be heading up July 14th and fishing the 15th through the 22nd. My goal is to hook as many Kings, Chums, and Sockeye as I can on the fly!
